Customer check-in components
Use our customizable web components to integrate Checkin Bay's functionality into any web page or app.
Customer-Initiated Check-ins
We support several ways for you to enable online check-ins for your customers:
- Integrate check-in components into your website or app using our web components
- Use platform apps for Wix or WordPress websites
- Direct customer access through app.checkinbay.com using your queue link
Customer Check-in Process
When customers check in, they'll provide their name and phone number, select the service(s) they need, and optionally choose to receive an SMS reminder.
If SMS notifications are enabled for your queue, customers will see "Get a text reminder" with options to receive a one-time SMS notification before their turn. They can choose from "I don't want a text reminder" (default), or select timing options like "15 min before my turn", "30 min before my turn", etc.

Admin-Initiated Check-ins
Admin users can also add check-ins for customers who arrive in person or call ahead. You can do this from the queue's Check-ins page by clicking the + Check in button. Creating a new check-in is as simple as providing the customer's name and phone number (optional for admin-initiated check-ins), and if there are multiple services linked to that queue, selecting the service(s) to check into.
