Adding a Resource

Resources refer to the staff or equipment necessary to deliver services and define the queue's capacity, indicating how many customers can be serviced simultaneously. Examples include tables in a restaurant, staff in a salon, or ticket counters in a theater.

You can create resources at the same time as you create the queue. Creating a resource is as simple as entering

• Name for the resource
• Services select the services that are provided by this resource

How is this used?

Resources, along with the service duration and queue hours, influence the wait times. Checkin Bay will automatically calculate the queue wait times based on

• The services provided by the queue and their durations
• The resources who provide the services
• The business hours of the queue
• Currently checked in customers and the services they have checked in for
